These 20 globe projection maps show the geolocial provinces of Mars with color codes for the main rock units. Ed Guinness of the Department of Earth & Planetary Sciences, Washington University in St. Louis created these maps using USGS maps as a base (the USGS maps are based on the analysis of Viking Orbiter images).
